Since its opening 100 years ago, Uno port has evolved from a gateway to Shikoku to a connecting terminal for ferries to and from NaoshimaUno Port is located in Tamano, a city in Okayama prefecture facing the sea. It developed as a center for logistics and international trade. After the construction of the Great Seto Bridge, it came to serve as ferry terminal for ferries from and to the internationally renown islands Naoshima and Teshima. A private island
Camp on Kujira Jima (Whale Island)You can rent out the whole island
for some undisturbed, true relaxation.This small island can be reached within 30 minutes from Uno Port on a chartered boat. Since this island's silhouette resembles a whale, it came to be known as Kujira Jima (Whale Island). Only one group per day can stay, so you can experience some special time with your close friends here. All important facilities such as tents, toilets, shower rooms, a wooden deck, an outdoor kitchen, etc. are provided, so you don't have to worry about anything. During your stay, you can have fun in the sea, go fishing, try sea kayaking and standup paddle boarding (SUP), have a campfire, etc. Talk while watching the stars at the night sky, see the sunrise, and experience a life according to the natural rhythm of the sun.

and give you a fantastic experience while you watch the beautiful landscape of continuous islands at Seto Inland Sea.Enjoy your trip at your own pace on a private charter yacht, with which you can comfortably go to Uno Port to transfer for the next activity, a ride on a fishing boat. Our yachts do not rock much, so you will have a pleasant time on board. It is also possible to sleep on the yacht, and there are private cabins, showers, toilets and amenities provided. An additional lunch service is also available upon request. If you would like to change the itinerary, it is also possible to connect your cruise with a visit to Naoshima and Teshima. Go on a fishing boat
and enjoy fishing in the Seto Inland SeaUnder the guidance of a skilled captain,
beginners can also enjoy the experience of fishing in the seaUpon arriving at Uno Port, you can change to a fishing boat after getting the necessary equipment. Since we also rent out life vests and utensils for fishing (for a fee), you can come empty-handed and enjoy the tour. The captain will give you comprehensive guidance about all essentials - from the right way to choose equipment to the fishing techniques. You will first have some time to enjoy the boat ride on the sea before arriving at the fishing spot. Then, release the fishing line according to the instructions, and relax while observing the calm waves and waiting for the fish to bite. Seto Inland Sea is famous for its rich variety of fish species, and fishing can be enjoyed throughout the four seasons. For an extra fee, you can also have the Fishing & Tamanoyu Package, with which you can have your fish cooked and served to you.

You can enjoy seasonal Seto Inland Sea cuisine and a variety of bathsAfter enjoying fishing on the Seto Inland Sea, you can put your caught fish into cooler boxes and set out for Tamanoyu (6 minutes by foot from Uno Port). While relaxing in the hotel’s outdoor bath, spacious sleeping bath, and salt sauna etc., a well-experienced chef will turn your fish into marvelous dishes. Raw, grilled and boiled - your night banquet will start with a large variety of dishes cooked in ways that best draw out their flavors. Fish you caught by yourself are especially delicious! Even for customers without the special package, Tamanoyu's facilities can be used. Besides hot springs, there are also bedrock baths (additional usage fee required), which have a beautifying effect on your skin, and a body care section in the beauty spa, helping you to relax and maintain smooth skin.

With the private chartered yachts, it is also possible to cruise around the beautiful island landscape of the Seto Inland Sea and visit the famous art-island Naoshima, as well as other islands such as Teshima and Inujima. On Kujira Jima, you can also go to the island for a day trip, or if you want to thoroughly enjoy the island life, then it is also possible to stay for several days (extra fee required).
